Trail’s End Restaurant closing to convert to Quick Service restaurant Trail’s End Restaurant at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort appears to be coming to the end of it’s trail, at least in it’s current existence. Trail’s End has been serving buffet meals to Fort Wilderness guests since 1974, but since reopening after COVID, the restaurant has switched to family-style. The restaurant shares a kitchen with Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, but there is not expected to be any change to Hoop-Dee-Doo. Similar to the issues with Avatar Flight of Passage, some larger people are having a hard time with the seats, though it appears the issue might be worse than Flight of Passage. There are some non-cycle accessible seats on some of the trains, but these seats are limited and the wait for them has been considerably longer.
